The It’s Your Move campaign invites you to take action:
Better understand risks, better prepare for them, and respond more effectively.In the Caribbean, disasters and crises are a reality.
But when facing hurricanes, earthquakes, or floods, information is your greatest ally.

And resilience can be learned. Step by step. Together.

The Caribbean Facing Natural Hazards

Did you know that the Caribbean is one of the regions most exposed to natural disasters ?

🌀 Hurricanes, 🌊 tsunamis, 🌋 volcanoes, 🌧️ floods, 🌱 droughts…

Here, hazards are numerous – and often sudden.

And that’s not all ! Add to that :

  • island territories sometimes isolated,
  • rapid urbanization,
  • social inequalities,
  • and a changing climate that makes everything more complex

The result : every year, our societies must adapt, prepare, and learn how to bounce back.

Throughout the campaign, a major hazard will be presented through a clear, detailed infographic, along with a real-life testimony.

Two main themes will guide this journey :

  1. Understanding risks and the impacts of climate change
  2. Adopting the right actions to prepare and protect yourself and your loved ones

learn how to prepare and respond
effectively in an emergency.

prepare, evacuate, and get to safety.

that shake the Earth !

A regional and collaborative initiative

The “Ready 360° Project – Phase 2” is co-funded by the INTERREG Caribbean Programme through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), with support from the French Development Agency – AFD.

This programme brings together numerous operational partners as well as our institutional partners : CDEMA, OECS, and the National Red Cross Societies across the region.

A dynamic 16 month campaign.
Duration : from June 2025 to October 2026
